Norfolk Southern Unveils Zero Emissions, Electric Locomotive

The AP reports that “rail hauler Norfolk Southern Corp. on Monday unveiled a battery-powered prototype locomotive for use in its Pennsylvania rail yard,” which the company developed “in partnership with the Energy Department, the Federal Railroad Administration, and Pennsylvania State University.”
