Mansfield, Wooster, New Philadelphia, Martins Ferry and Steubenville
It was a busy leap day for America’s Power vans. We started in Mansfield at a Hillary Clinton event where Bill was speaking. We gave out over 100 t-shirts and 300 pamphlets of literature about clean coal technologies.
Others of us started the morning off Steubenville, visiting the courthouse and town square. The America’s Power van attracted much attention and we talked to a lot of people about our campaign — including several who work in coal mines. Next, we headed to Martins Ferry (by driving through some bad winter weather making the two-lane highway pretty scary!) to meet with the editorial staff of the Times New Leader, and spoke with reporter Eric Ayres.
In New Philadelphia, we attended a second Bill Clinton event, which had a very educated crowd about clean coal.
